About Us
Since its inception in 1973, CAMERON Construction has been involved in a wide variety of challenging projects throughout the Intermountain West. John Cameron, founder, is still involved as the company has transitioned the management into the hands of a new generation that has a wealth of experience and knowledge in construction management and business administration.
Our focus is on our client. We work hard to deliver our projects on time, within budget and to exceed the client’s expectations. Listen-Implement-Create Value
CAMERON Construction is proud to employ a team of talented professionals who are dedicated to providing clients with quality, cost-efficient projects. In our years of experience, we have found open dialogue, honesty and integrity combine to produce a superior project experience for our clients. As a result of our dedication, we are proud to enjoy a high percentage of repeat business clients.
Our Process
The construction process can be a very time consuming and challenging process if not done in a proper sequence of activities. The very first step is just as important as the very last. Let CAMERON Construction guide you through the process to ensure each step is taken in the proper sequence.
Mission Statement
CAMERON Construction has been awarded for safety for numerous years. In addition, the Utah Labor Commission has awarded the Company the Workplace Safety Award for the past several years.
CAMERON Construction has developed a progressive Safety Program to ensure the protection of people and property. CAMERON personnel live by our slogan “YFNY” which stands for “Your Family Needs You”. We want and need our workers to return home each and every day and their families need them to return home safely. The Project Superintendent serves as the on-site safety representative for each job. Under the direction of the Project Superintendent, weekly safety meetings are held with all assigned staff. Safety manuals are maintained on the job-site for ready reference for any questions or concerns, which may arise.
In addition, company sponsored safety classes are held on a monthly basis for specialized training. These classes are held under the guidance of the CAMERON Safety Director. All field employees are required to be in attendance to guarantee a continued focus on a safe working environment for themselves, co-workers, and clients. All our project superintendents are 30 hour OSHA certified with CPR and First Aid training.
CAMERON Construction’s superb job safety record is due in part to the site specific safety plans, which are implemented to address the particular concerns of each project. This plan will incorporate work site segregation, traffic control, and environmental issues. First and foremost this will concentrate on the safety of the employees and guests of the job site.
